I've worked as an illustrator all my life: my first paid commission came when I was a young teenager — illustrating a wedding invitation (in pen & ink) for two graduate students from Bennington College. I Later went on to study art in Rhode Island and Pennsylvania where I continued to work as an editorial illustrator for several publications in Philadelphia.

In 1991 I bought my first computer (a Macintosh IIsi) and became obsessed with creating artwork digitally via POV-Ray and shortly thereafter PhotoShop 3. In the following 20 years (and through least 10 generations of computers and software) I’ve produced several thousand illustrations and animations, primarily for the furniture and stone (monument) industry. I’ve also worked for game companies, the movie industry and a political campaign, among others — primarily working as a concept illustrator.
